Sigalit Landau proves that art is the only thing that can withstand the saltiness of the Dead Sea.
The Israeli artist is back with a new collection of familiar object covered with salt from the dead sea. He’s compiled photographs of his pieces in a book called Salt Years. He writes, “These objects leave ‘the game’ of being useful ‘things’ and enter a new realm – the open space of representation. They loose their old features and dimensions and inhale a certain pureness of spirit, treated by climate and enhanced by emotion.”
