Created for The Daily Share, artist David Schwen took a minimalist approach to a unique project, deconstructing popular sandwiches and lunch items and photographing them.
Using standard school lunch trays, Schwen’s photos show a how-to approach at five popular meals: a burger, pizza, hotdog, reuben, and taco. Each image shows the necessary ingredients for the dish organized into individual parts of the tray. The photos were shown on Instagram. No matter which meal is your favorite, each image has a bit of nostalgia with the bright colors and classic school lunch items.
