Nebraska artist, Meghan Stratman, uses brightly colored paper to create collage illustrations. The finished pieces reference cartooning with their flat areas of color and their playful shape combinations.
In some pieces we notice the texture of the paper itself adding depth to the otherwise flat image. Stratman shares, “My art world is populated with secretive, isolated girls and silly creatures that may or may not be wearing space helmets.”
