Just recently, 60 of Editta Sherman’s iconic photographs during her career have been donated to the New-York Historical. They will be available for viewing at the Joyce B. Cowin Women’s History Gallery.
Audiences can marvel at the iconic style of the artist as she worked with renowned subjects, including A Tree Grows in Brooklyn author Betty Smith, actor Yul Brenner, playwright Lillian Hellman, and more.
