The SPARK Brooklyn Children’s Museum is home to some creative installations for children.
The latest addition to the Museum is an interactive one, called Sky Villages, designed by James Paulius. The play center is comprised of stackable house-like units. The thoughtfully-designed and colorful installation set amongst plumes of white clouds is meant to educate children about the planet’s evolving population. Paulius writes, “Sky Villages presents the possibility to dwell in the sky in modular architecture that can be added or removed as populations increase or decrease.” The concept underlying this wood-fabricated piece is quite imaginative!
