On May 6, join the festivities for the second annual Smack Mellon Gravity Racers Benefit Party & Art Auction! Come watch the races, bet on cars, and go home with a unique work of art — all in support of Smack Mellon.
Tickets start at $400. One ticket admits two guests to the party and guarantees one original artwork, won by betting on races between artist-made pinewood derby cars. Packages offer discounts on multiple tickets. For an additional $25, build your own derby-style car to race amongst the radically customized ones made by artists.

Funds raised at the benefit will support Smack Mellon’s mission to serve a diverse group of emerging, under-recognized, mid-career, and women artists through Smack Mellon’s free exhibitions, artist studio program, and artist mentorship program for high school students.
