Awe is a perfectly reasonable response when faced with a vision of enormous beauty. Capturing the vastness of the starry skies, photographer Kent MacDonald has created a series of works that focus in on the wonder that can be felt when looking at the night sky.
A sense of vastness is created in the photographs by juxtaposing the sky as a backdrop for a human silhouette. The artist has titled the larger series ‘A World Between Worlds’ and uses dwarfed silhouettes in a larger atmospheric space to showcase the wonder of the natural world.
