For Members of The Tech Museum of Innovation
What do you get when you combine LEDs, origami, and stop motion animation? Join us for one of our STEAM Dojo Family Workshops, LightCUBE, and find out! In this Members-exclusive workshop, you’ll create paper cubes, lit up by LEDs, to use as building blocks in your very own stop motion animation video. Team up with other Members, combining your LightCUBEs, to produce a glowing movie masterpiece. Afterwards, share your masterpiece in The Tech Studio, transformed into LightCUBE Theater, and take home your LightCUBEs for more at-home movie magic.
The LightCUBE workshop is recommended for participants 7 years old and up, with a $15 fee for one child/teen participant + one adult. Please bring the e-mailed confirmation with you and proceed to The Tech Studio on the Lower Level to check-in 10 minutes before the start of the workshop.

Dojo = a place to learn and participate, or a “place of the way”
STEAM Dojo is an experiential learning and tinkering environment, where you can work on projects at the intersection of art and technology. The Tech is partnering with Benesse to bring you a series of these weekend workshops over the next few months. Projects will change each month, so stay tuned for more info on upcoming workshops!
