‘STORY’ – an unconventional clock that uses a hovering ball to tell time, gets support on Kickstarter

STORY is an innovative product that uses a hovering metal ball to tell time.

The project was just launched on Kickstarter by Flyte. The company’s latest project is a reinvention of the modern clock. It comes with three modes. ‘Journey,’ lets you set the mechanism to a specific date. It will then move based on how close you are to that date. ‘Clock’ uses the standard time-telling method. And finally, ‘Timer’ lets you set the device to a countdown. There’s also an embedded backlit display that makes for nighttime viewing as well as a connected mobile app that lets you control the backlight.
