Cityscapes can be captured in a multitude of different ways. Jeremy Mann, for example, gives his work a unique flair with oil paints.
His oil-based paintings capture city life in low-lit moments of the day such as early morning and during sunset hours. This specific time frame allows for some intriguing, Blade Runner-esque color palettes. Throughout the process, Mann is constantly applying and wiping away areas of the canvas to get that hazy look with layers of paint smeared to create objects off in the distance.
