Last year Mexican design brand Studio davidpompa released the Ambra collection of lighting that included a table lamp and wall lamp made of cantera rose and copper. Now, they’ve unveiled the latest member of the family – the Ambra pendant – which continues the exploration of contrasting materials and proportions.

The pendant boasts an elegant geometrical silhouette with two cylindrical forms made from dusty pink cantera rosa, a volcanic rock made up of volcanic ash and dust, that rests at the end of a brushed copper cylinder. Hanging alone or in a configuration of multiples, the pendant makes for a striking sculptural light.
