Innovation extends to stuffed animals with Rachel Ciavarella new creations.
The artist and designer created Morris, a stuffed anglerfish that can be turned inside out. The reversible fish is part toy and part material explorations project combining several of them including felt, sateen, chiffon, faux sherpa, canvas, and fleece. The materials were used to create all of the features seen on the anglerfish from bones, fins, teeth, and even their innards. The fish was created originally as a personal project but popularity grew to the point Ciavarella was forced to start a Kickstarter campaign to fund mass production. Check it out!
