Paper is delicate and not the first choice for an artist but when used effectively, it can make for a strong and bold impression.
London-based artist Clare Pentlow’s incredibly detailed sculptures are created from paper. From afar, each circular creation takes on the form of beautiful-colored irises. Up close, however, the sculptures are just as organized as they are eye-catching. The designs are comprised of hundreds of sharp points created from folded layers of paper.
