Managed by Easycard Corporation, the project was initiated in order to draw attention to the upcoming games: the 2017 Summer Universiade.
The Universiade is the second-largest international sporting event after the Olympics and will take place from august 19th to the 30th in Taipei. Tourists who will be attending the events will be able to experience a slice of the hype by riding on one of the moving sporting venues. Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan, transforms its subway cars into realistic simulations of sport venues.
The decoration of each carriage was focused mainly on the floors, which resemble swimming pools, soccer fields, basketball courts and race tracks.
