1. Steps & Mounds Bookends Set

After reducing the amount of books and tchotchkes on my main bookshelf, somehow the balance was thrown off and books starting slipping and sliding to the floor. After much research, these geometric bookends, which come as a set of four, landed in my shopping cart. The sturdy metal means my books will stay in place while the hand-painted colors add some fun pep to my white shelves.

pink velvet adidas x Gucci sneakers

2. adidas x Gucci Pink Velvet Gazelle Sneakers

I’ve owned my share of adidas sneakers, especially Gazelles, in my day, which makes their latest collaboration with Gucci right up my alley. If you slap pink on a sneaker, I’m probably going to love it even more. Add Gucci to the mix and I’m SOLD. Do I need another pair of pink sneakers? Depends on how you define “need.”

floor length wood mirror with curvy shaped frame

3. Wavy Mirror by TITOArtDesign

I’ve been looking for a floor length mirror for years now that doesn’t cost $1k or look cheap. I’ve also been searching for mirrors in general to brighten up my space and this wavy one keeps catching my eye. I love the curvy trend that’s happening these days and this mirror falls right in line with its playful shape.

eight mini puzzles of the planets

4. The Planets 2,000 Pieces Puzzle Set by Four Point Puzzles

If you’re looking for the puzzle that beats all puzzles, this is it. The set features eight puzzles in one box, each a different planet. The challenging part is organizing the 2,000 pieces to figure out which planet they belong to. I love all things space-related so it was super fun to do  – just make sure you have plenty of space to sort pieces and construct each planet! I’m pretty sure I had a puzzle on every surface in my apartment while working on this!

5. Vitra Launches Limited Edition Panton Chair Duo

It’s pretty easy to spot a Panton Chair when looking through images of modern spaces. The iconic, all-plastic chair was designed by Verner Panton in 1959 and eventually developed in collaboration with Vitra in 1967, and it still looks just as modern today as it did when it was originally launched. The chairs have always come in solid colors, but this year, in collaboration with the Panton family, Vitra is releasing the Panton Chair Duo in five, two-tone color combinations – Pine Green/Purplish Blue, Purplish Blue/Purple Violet, Purple Violet/Pink Magenta, Pink Magenta/Panton Classic Red, and Panton Classic Red/Bright Orange. The Panton Chair Duo comes in a set of five – one of each color – with just 200 sets being produced. MoMA is selling the sets exclusively in the United States. Currently they’re available for preorder here, with delivery expected in September 28, 2022.
