The 58th New York Film Festival, Now on the Big Screen

Like most such events that have taken place over the past year, the 58th edition of the New York Film Festival was held virtually (with some drive-in screenings). Now, though, with quarantine restrictions lifting, Film at Lincoln Center has put together a do-over for anyone who missed the communal experience of indoor moviegoing. For the next few months, they’ll be showing various titles that played NYFF 2020.

The program features some of the most acclaimed films from last year. Hyperallergic has already extolled the virtues of Smooth Talk, Her Socialist Smile, Ouvertures, Small Axe, and The Inheritance. So if you’re comfortable going back into a theater (you can read FLC’s health and safety policies here), don’t miss a great summery opportunity to capture the fall festival spirit.
