We can add Croft House to the ever-growing list of brands releasing exceptional 2024 collections – the year is off to a great start in the world of design. When Croft House’s design team began working on the Baldwin Collection, they found inspiration in a place where dimension and layout meet. Handcrafted in Los Angeles, California, by a small team, the four-piece furniture suite features a bed, nightstand, mirror, and credenza, each constructed from solid oak and detailed in a flat fluted design that’s minimal yet impossible to ignore. The texture it adds to the series is stunning, and I can imagine running my fingers over the headboard when falling asleep every night.

The Baldwin Bed is the furniture piece that stands out most thanks to the beautifully oversized headboard, which also acts as a nice anchor for the accompanying nightstand. Available in queen, king, and California king sizes, the Baldwin Bed is crafted with shaped oak pieces that are placed by hand and a hardwax oil finish. Solid oak side rails and a footboard add balance to the visually weighty headboard.
A natural addition to the Baldwin Bed is the Baldwin Nightstand. Made of durable oak and walnut with an oak ply interior, it includes two spacious, slow close drawers to fit everything and anything you might want to keep within arm’s reach. The exterior of the nightstand is thin, effectively pulling your eyes toward the horizontal flat fluted drawers that are finished with hardwax oil and accented with solid walnut handles.
Oak and walnut extend their high quality to the Baldwin Credenza that’s faced with five doors of vertical flat fluted wood with a natural toned hardwax oil finish. Here again, the cabinet doors feature slow close hinges with an interior shelf that’s adjustable. The details adorning the credenza use both oak and walnut woods, with each sized by hand.

The Baldwin Wall Mirror’s 42-inch handmade oak wood frame is accentuated by a clean, curved edge. Mounting it flush to the wall using a French cleat system adds to its minimal aesthetic.
