Two creative collaborators have teamed up to create a quirky series of photographs based around food. Instead of focusing on the classic cheese trap, photographer Davide Luciano and food stylist Claudia Ficca take a new route by creating gourmet dishes for mice, luring even the pickiest eaters into their traps.
This project was inspired after one of Luciano’s cheese advertising photo shoots in New York. Describing this notion as a “cheesy state of mind,” he was challenged to create miniature food plates with delectable meals any household mouse would love.

Ficca cooked up the intricately crafted gourmet food and presented it on attractive little plates. As a finishing touch, the food creations were are all positioned on the trigger of a mouse trap, ready to catch the cunning little pests.
