The Cloisters: Part Two

Deidre Larkin, Associate Horticulture Manager at The Cloisters, describes the creation and maintenance of the gardens at The Cloisters. Designed to be historically accurate in their design and in the plants that grow there, the gardens are the result of collaboration between scholars, educators, and horticulturalists. This lecture is part of a large series that gives a behind-the-scenes look at The Cloisters, which was presented on April 2, 2008.

The gardens are featured in a blog, The Medieval Garden Enclosed, run by the department: http://blog.metmuseum.org/cloistersgardens/
