The difference is stunning. California suffered drought conditions beginning in 2014, but the past winter was wet enough to restore many waterways and reservoirs. The state drought emergency has been lifted now, except for four counties. Photographer Justin Sullivan took pictures in the summer 2014 and again this spring.
