The Fall/Winter 21 Minimo Collection Embraces Casual, Organic Forms

Based in Los Angeles, California, designer Fernando Cuevas has a natural respect for organic shapes and forms that have a really casual feel. Since founding CASAminimo in 2013, his furniture has been making statements through their originality and functionality. Keeping the process sustainable and having access to local materials have created the foundation of the Fall/Winter 21 collection, a trio of asymmetrical pieces that includes a bench, side chair, and coffee table.

“I designed the Fall/Winter 21 Minimo Collection by respecting organic shapes and keeping forms minimal, while including a cozy and approachable vibe. It’s about art and function… when you find that happy medium, magic is manifested,” said Cuevas of his work.

The Meenee Bench and Mono Side Chair feature matte bleached walnut wood and faux sherpa upholstery, while the Terro Coffee Table is made from bleached solid beech wood with a maple veneer. Plenty of great curves and angles contribute to creating this minimal look that remains welcoming.
