The Kustem Trolley 4K Television Rolls Into Living Rooms With Storage Galore

Lifestyle televisions like the LG SIGNATURE OLED M, Objet Collection Posé, Samsung Serif, and MyShelf have carved a niche for themselves among the decor-minded for their furniture legged stands and inconspicuous cord/cable management. Staged in photoshoots openly in the middle of a room rather than relegated to the wall, this category of TVs introduces the idea that the television is a piece of furniture rather than an intrusive tech best hidden. S2VICTOR’s Trolley Display, for new Korean brand Kustem, adopts a similar approach, with a four-wheel cart design and integrated storage operating as an open concept 55-inch television you can roll into any corner of the house.

Announced online recently, details are currently scant in the specifications department regarding the Kustem television. What is available is primarily limited to industrial design studio S2VICTOR’s projects site, Korean crowdfunding site Wadiz, and Kustem’s own Instagram page/Stories. What we know: it’s an OLED television with 4K 3840 x 2160 (UHD) resolution and paired with a rather standard 60Hz refresh rate – meaning, don’t expect this to be an optimal choice if your home entertainment includes console gaming or live sports programming, both fast motion content benefitting from 120Hz-240Hz refresh rate displays.

Matching its namesake, Kustem’s approach to television design revolves around customization, including colorful Deco Covers and Cabinet Fit options to complement surrounding decor.

Details mention Google 4th Generation Chromecast support integrated into the television for streaming duties, with the option to outfit the 4K display with either a trolley base, easel, or standard surface stand.

The Kustem Trolley television may not distinguish itself in the technology specs department, but it does stand out with its color cabinetry, integrated pegboard storage system behind the display, bottom rack shelf, and caster wheeled mobility.
