For the healthy and fit among us, inhaling a small puff of dust–like a piece of that cloud that emerges when you empty your Dyson, say–is no big deal. But for those with respiratory issues, such fine particles can present a problem.
It’s for this admittedly smaller market–or perhaps for neat freaks–that Samsung has designed their Clean Station, which is essentially a vacuum for your vacuum, assuming you’ve got a Samsung Jet Stick:

Yes, having a vacuum for your vacuum is absurd on its face, but I have to admire the thoroughness of the designers on executing their brief. And if I had asthma or COVID, this product would be attractive to me from a convenience standpoint, if not a sustainability one (extra dustbags).
One thing that’s surely not accurate for everyone, is the bit about the dust bag lasting for 2-3 months; with the amount of dog fur I vacuum, I’d give that thing a week.
Question: You reckon Dyson’s overkill-happy engineers are jealous they didn’t think of this first, or dismissive?
