The Tech Awards 2013 Gala Highlights

On Thursday evening, November 14, 2013 an audience of 1,500 gathered in Silicon Valley for the 13th annual Gala of The Tech Awards: Technology Benefiting Humanity, dubbed “the Oscars of Silicon Valley” by the Mercury News. The Tech Awards is the signature international program of The Tech Museum of Innovation. The annual awards ceremony, presented by Applied Materials, honors 10 laureates and a global humanitarian who are using technology to combat significant problems around the world. The Tech Awards Gala 2013 included presentations by Dean Kamen, Tim Ritchie, Fritjof Capra, Richard Blanco, Myha’la Herrold, Laura Stachel, Piya Sorcar, Anushka Shetty, Shuman Ghosemajumder, the sponsors of The Tech Awards, and many others.
