Therapy rooms, glowing snakes and more at the recent SPRING/BREAK art show in New York

Amidst the harsh weather conditions last February, art enthusiasts bee-lined for Time to celebrate the opening ceremonies of SPRING/BREAK Art Show.

The art show has been known in the city for repurposing a historical site for the event for a period of time. They started at the former school of St. Patrick and later made their way to the Skylight of Moynihan Station where they had a two-year run. This year, however, the husband-and-wife team Andrew Gori and Ambre Kelly, who are also both co-founders of the event, have decided to put the exhibit in the Conde Nast at Times Square.

This year marks a massive turnout especially for art that exceeds mediocre presentations. From shiny animated snake-like sculptures to therapy rooms that treat “Nature Deficit Disorders” to representations of a real-life beehive, SPRING/BREAK has definitely brought out the best in an immersive art.

Below are a few of the stunning works curated from the event.
