There are no excuses to make great art – See as this colorblind artist creates inspiring work

Daniel Arsham has no shortage of ideas and talents. We’ve made sure of that. We’ve talked about him in the past few years – from larger-than-life hydrostone sculptures to record-breaking concrete installations. Now, he’s back with more work that can inspire us all.

In case you didn’t know just yet, Arsham is colorblind. But he proves to us that this is no reason to stop working towards becoming great in your craft. Case in point: Arsham has a new exhibition at the High Museum of Art that features art for all the sense, through audio, architecture, sculpture, installation and performance.

“Life is definitely more nuanced, but I’m not sure it’s more interesting. I feel like I’m inside a game—an overly saturated world,” said Arsham in a news release. “But now I’ve arrived at a point where I’m using color as another tool in my work. This is a unique project for me in that there is a ton of color, so I think it’s going to be really interesting to see audiences react.”
