Color paper is still alive and well and is being used by some very talented artists, namely, Spanish illustrator Juan Carlos aka Jotaká. His fantastic family portrait called, “La Siesta”, feature bendy characters cut out of color paper. The characters can be seen hugging each other and their pets.
The portraits are warm, inviting, and will remind just about anyone of the good times they’ve had with friends and family. For Jotaká, this has been a personal project about hugs, their importance, and the ideal time to receive them.
