Hughes is originally an architect by trade but now spends his time creating wall mosaics and sculptures from LEGO. His wall pieces are playful and have a retro feel to them while being visually dynamic and modern. The sculptures bring the three-dimensional glory of LEGO into the same dynamic light as the wall art Hughes has managed to depict movement with the rigid blocks.
