What’s interesting about the term perspective is how it can mean some very different things. One, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, defines “a visible scene, especially: one giving a distinctive impression of distance.” Its other use applies to “a mental view or prospect,” or its third use stands for the interrelation of things that are mentally viewed.
