As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches daily. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that “add to cart” button. Every Wednesday, you can head to the bottom of this article for an exclusive discount code so you can keep your pin game sharp.

There are a lot of pins based on art. Most of them are bad pins based on bad art, or bad pins based on good art. This is a rarity, however: a good pin based on good art. PSA Press did a nice engraved rendering of a Roy Lichtenstein Fruit Bowl painting and it looks excellent. This is the sort of thing that classes up your stuff instead of just looking like you’re trying to show off. Well done, PSA.

This ‘cosmic pharoah’ pin just caught my eye, which means it will catch the eyes of people who see you wearing it. I’ve tried a few Egypt-inspired pins myself and they’re difficult to do well. This takes an already-established icon and adds some simple but effective added design. Wear it on the subway while you bump Steve Martin’s 1979 hit single “King Tut.”

My roommates love to burn sage and so now I like to burn sage. Sage spreads like memes. It’s truly a beautiful thing. CCaT Love sells lots of cool hippie stuff in her shop, like crystals and incense. I’m more of a Ouija board guy myself, but check out her shop if you like to Light Up Some Sage And Party.

Everybody knows a guy like this, and if you don’t, there’s a good chance you’re him: busted teeth, a flat beer, a five-day shadow, and no pants. Make your outsides match your insides by rocking this bad boy.

Each roundup I try to include a variety of things, from memes to pop cultural references to just straight up well-drawn art. This is the well-drawn category. You can tell Hamilton put a lot of work and craft into designing this sick moon pin and its accompanying stars. It looks fantastic; this is the sort of work you should be supporting with your hard-earned dollars!
