Austin Tott photographs miniature tattoos in matching landscapes, creating new worlds where these drawings are right at home in his ‘Tiny Tattoo’ project. The body art is drawn on the wrist in black ink and then put into a matching environment. The end result is whimsical and unusual photographs of new worlds.
For instance, a bicycle is paired with an urban setting, while a tattoo of a ship is displayed against a stylish old-time map. The photographs are all about thinking outside the box… the box being the camera. Much like the tattoos themselves, this photography gets under your skin, leaving you wanting more and more!
