Two young artists show the power of hard work and innate creativity in recent art auction, culminating thousands of dollars in sales

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art auction shone the spotlight on two young student artists. You can see their works in the photos below.

Fatemeh Ebrahimi’s “Reserve Class Champion” sculpture was a top pick, with many bidders fighting to the finish. Ultimately, it sold for $102,000! It’s not hard to see why this piece broke a world record for the 3D category.

An eighth-grader from McMeans Junior High, Charles Jang, is another front-runner. His piece, “A Rare Connection,” won the “Class Champion” award and a not-too-shabby selling price of $65,000!

Who knows what immense talent these youngsters will show off in the future?
