On July 27th, Antler Gallery in Portland will present new surreal paintings from Lisa Ericson featuring her hybrid creatures of the natural world. The new body of work she has prepared for this exhibition seems to be centered upon”mobile habitats,” plants growing on the back of tortoises that can support other wild life such as butterflies, frogs, and other insects. She will be sharing the show space with artists David Rice and Danny Samuels and their new work.
