USC Pacific Asia Museum Presents Intervention: Fresh Perspectives After 50 Years

Intervention: Fresh Perspectives After 50 Years at USC Pacific Asia Museum celebrates a landmark event: USC PAM’s fiftieth anniversary as a museum dedicated to the arts and cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands. The exhibition looks towards the future while reflecting on the past, exploring new ways to view the museum’s permanent collection, as realized through the work of seven contemporary Asian diasporic artists.

Through original artworks, each artist presents their response to the collection, its history, and possibilities for the next fifty years. Antonius Bui, Audrey Chan, Jennifer Ling Datchuk, Amir Fallah, Akiko Jackson, Alan Nakagawa, and kate-hers RHEE are the artists featured in this exhibition.
