BuzzFeed has created a fascinating video that examines some of the unusual manhood rituals from around the world. From the common Jewish custom of bar mitzvah to the practice of circumcision.
The video also shows rituals that you may not know about. Rituals like a tribe in Ethiopia in which boys perform a cow jumping ceremony, or the Sateré-Mawé Tribe in the Amazon rain forest that has boys as young as twelve wear gloves filled with bullet ants that sting them repeatedly.
