Virtual manipulations of distorted cars in deserted places

What if our automobiles get to do a bit of exercising when no one’s looking? UK artist Chris Labrooy (previously covered here) expands on that premise with his latest digital art series ‘Tales of auto elasticity,’ a continuation of his 2013 project ‘Auto Aerobics.’ Virtual models of vibrantly colored cars and pickup trucks seem to be stretched, twisted, rolled, flexed, and distorted into strangely surreal shapes and positions.

Labrooy came up with the concept via past Californian road trips through deserted barren lands. See the oddly fascinating series below and check out more of Labrooy’s work at his Behance page.
