Syd Mead is one of the greatest illustrators of our time and his style will resonate with artists for generations. And you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone mimic that style better than Atelier Olschinsky.
The small Vienna-based studio, headed by Peter Olschinsky and Verena Weiss, has made quite a name for itself by specializing in various fields including “graphic design, illustration, photography, and art direction”. And they do an incredible job at all of those things.
Their recently-updated portfolio highlights a number of illustrations reminiscent of the critically-acclaimed Syd Mead, with one collection being a depiction of a derelict chrome-lathed mining facility in the snow. Check out some of their illustrations below and visit their website for more.
