Wales lighthouse photographed being savaged by huge waves

Lighthouses have never looked more ominous than in Steve Garrington’s newest collection.

During the long hours spent on the coast of Porthcawl, Wales, Garrington captured some very impressive footage with the star being a single lighthouse. Constructed in 1860, the lighthouse gets savaged by monstrous oceanic waves all the time thanks to its unique sloped design. This results in waves reached ginormous heights above the lighthouse. Harrington, of course, was there to document all the action.
