French director Thomas Blanchard set out to capture the full beauty of flowers blooming with his timelapse short film ‘Flowers.’ The stunning video took four months to complete, with 9,624 5K RAW shots in total. Set against colorful vintage wallpapers, over 20 species of flowers like lilies, daffodils, tulips and irises were shot every eight-to-ten minutes, then put together in post-production to create timelapse montages in staggeringly pristine 5K quality.
Blanchard devoted his time and effort to create this video simply because he loves nature. The aesthetics are inspired by the ’60s and ’70s style. See the absolutely gorgeous short film below, and click here to see a full list of the flowers featured in the video.
