I don’t know what’s cooler, a toy lightsaber that cuts through 50 sheets of metal or a Lego gun that shoots explosives. Daniel Hashimoto has been making his 3-year old son James look like an action hero and releasing some of his special effects clips on YouTube.
As a visual effects artist for DreamWorks Animation, Daniel already has lots going for him in the industry. The Los Angeles resident had this to say about his son becoming known as Action Movie Kid: “I made them mostly because he is really funny and imaginative. James doesn’t watch TV or movies very much. We play tons of games with him throughout the day.”
