Back in 2016, we featured Roos van de Kieft‘s series “Body of Work” on WE AND THE COLOR. Now in the beginning of 2018, it’s time to show you some more work of this highly creative photographer and visual artist. “When Fashion is Losing its Sense of Self” is a new artistic photo project by Roos van de Kieft that questions the values of clothes and self-identity through fashion and the image.

“Nowadays social media puts an interesting lens on the creation of the self. We are building a visual record of ourselves for anyone to see but somehow it seems that this is much less about identity through ourselves, and more about the self through others. This project wants to shed light on the originality of every single person’s identity by showing their very own and unique flesh and skin on fabric.” – Roos van de Kieft
