Wind of Okhotsk, a photo series covered with tons of snow.
Ying Yin is a talented photographer who lives in Shanghai, China. Born and raised in the south of China, Ying Yin always wanted to visit some places, where you can find massive amounts of snow. In 2015, she made a trip to Hokkaido, the most northern island of Japan. Her journey started in Sapporo and ended in Abashiri, a town located on the coast of the Okhotsk Sea. The two cities are connected by a train named “Okhotsk-no-Kaze” (Wind of Okhotsk). During the trip, Ying Yin has captured seemingly sleeping places, covered by large amounts of snow. A handful of images can be found below. For more, please visit Ying Yin’s portfolio on Behance and Instagram.
