Oftentimes, when one thinks of wire sculptures, they think of something resembling a loose wireframe evocative of a particular figure, but not necessarily detailed or life-like. But Brooklyn-based sculptor Seung Mo Park has created a series of wire sculptures that bring the art form to a whole new level. Her human figures are strikingly detailed and beautifully posed.
The texture of the wire brings a fluidity and movement to the figures. They look as if they could come to life and start walking around at any moment.
