Australian designer Kode Logic, has created a series of illustrations in which he mashes up iconic photos and superheroes. Entitled ‘Playing With History’, the series reimagines historic events with the participation of comic book villains and heroes.
For instance, Kode Logic has inserted Megatron into the flames of the Hindenburg. In others, he has Ironman looking over JFK and Jackie in Dallas and Spiderman hanging out with iron workers building the New York City skyline. The photos have a creepy feel and make you actually wonder – what would have happened if these super heroes had been around to change history?
