TV series and movies that are set in the early 80’s and 90’s have made a strong comeback in the past couple years. And although popular screen favorites such as Stranger Things, Narcos, and Westworld are available to buy and stream online, there’s nothing like that retro feeling of having your own copy at home like the old times.
Thankfully, Iamsteelberg came up with an idea. Instead of recreating movie and TV series posters into millennial art, why not downgrade them into VHS copies? The process is simple yet meticulous. He wears the posters down to make it look worn out, puts rental stickers on them like the ones from Blockbuster, and slaps them on to a VHS holder.
