10 wondrous narratives created in miniature

Visual artist and director Clemens Wirth has a passion for miniatures and creating beautiful dioramas for a variety of projects. He’s worked with the BBC, Servus TV, Manfrotto, Leap Records, Working Title Films UK, and many others, creating wonderful scenes and a number of title sequence animations.

Print photos of his dioramas are available on Etsy, many of which are humorous (or downright hilarious). The title sequence he created for WWI drama Herbst is amazing, with vignettes of the lives of the characters recreated in miniature form. He also created the title sequence for The Borrowers that has an air of innocence that is hard to capture without crossing the line into creating something that is too juvenile, even for a young audience.
