If you’re thinking about a summer road trip, this photo series by German photographer Christian Schmidt may whet your appetite. The shots give us a birds-eye view, showing us the twists and turns that the pavement will take, alluding to the freedom of the journey.
The series was developed as a commission by Y&R Irvine and Jaguar. The photographer said in an interview, “For me it doesn’t really matter if it is an assignment or a personal project. I always try to create great work and something which is touching and conveys a special feeling.”
