6,000 plastic bottles make up this illuminated outdoor maze

Have you ever heard those statistics about a year’s worth of plastic bottles wrapping around the earth three times or something? Me too, but I’ve never really kept the message in mind until now. Luzinterruptus’ illuminated maze is a project built to shed light on the world’s mounting plastic waste problems in a creative new way.

Luzinterruptus is an anonymous group that compiled over 6,000 bottles, lit them with LEDs and created an interactive maze built to show the world’s waste of plastic bottles in one day. The maze is free to enter and on display in Poland. Check it out!
