8-piece nesting doll commemorates Robin Williams’ performances

After the tragic loss of one of the brightest stars that ever landed on the comedy and drama scene, Robin Williams, many artists have paid various creative tributes in his memory. San Francisco-based artist Andy Stattmiller decided to commemorate 8 of the most distinctive comedy characters that Williams impersonated throughout his colorful career by painting them on nesting doll pieces.

The nesting doll series starts with the biggest doll of 7 inches being Mrs. Doubtfire, then depicts the characters from The Birdcage, Fisher King, Death to Smoochy , Jumanji, Good Morning Vietnam, Mork and Mindy, with the final and the tiniest one being Aladdin of 0.75 inches. All of the dolls are beautiful little artworks, painted with acrylic and joined together by the comic in Stattmillers’s lively style.
