Recently, National Geographic asked people from around the world to submit photos that they thought represent love. Using their online photo sharing site, Your Shot, hundreds of images were submitted to the project called ‘Love Snap.’ Just twenty seven photos were chosen for the project.
The images vary widely in types of love captured. There’s romantic love, shown in a photo of a newly married couple from India, but there’s also a close up of an old woman’s hand with both her and her passed husband’s wedding ring. All of the photos are touching and exemplify different kinds of love from around the world.
